Today MyMovingReviews celebrates it’s 1000 moving company added into the moving companies database. As we the largest US moving company database of reviews and ratings, we are growing rapidly. Tens of thousands of people are deciding which mover to use based on our moving reviews every month. We are glad that our community of users is contributing with its experience and advice on the most popular relocation companies and Van Lines in USA and Canada.
The MyMovingReviews Idea
The website was inspired by the thousands of horror stories of people being scammed and at the same time the reputable moving companies that find it difficult to compete with the rogue movers. As there are many online sources, most of them are under-managed and with issues. We decided to create a website with a filter system that will be able to adequately separate the fake from the real reviews and make it easier for the future customers to decide on their moving company. The website was launched in December 2008 as a beta version, it officially became part of the World Wide Web on 1st of February 2009. With constant updates the site slowly climbed up to ladder to become #1 source for moving related information. Since its debut, it helped tens of thousands people to find the the right moving company for them. You should not take our word for this, just read the statistics:

The November Redesign & New Features
The new redesigned site includes a totally revised main menu with transparent subsections so you can easily navigate to what you need. We have extended the width of the page so we can fit more information in your viewing space. Did you notice the shadow under the logo?
A new feature is the Moving Cost Estimator – a free moving quote estimate customized to your move. You get a moving cost estimate based on your move weight and distance.

The Future
As we are constantly enchanting the website, we add new features every week. We are developing free web resource section for moving companies to help them present themselves online and find more customers. We are working on some very exiting projects that will go live in 2012. We’ll keep you posted.
