100% Pure Scam Artist - Moving Review

Shipped furniture to my sister in early March 2011 - had her pick the shipping company. Told her it would be expensive and she'd be better off buying new furniture, but she claimed to have gotten a "bid" online from a guy named Ernest with Mantruk for $400 to ship a few hundred pounds in living room furniture via UPS Air Freight. I told her no way, it had to be a scam - but she said she was a "trusting person"...

Furniture arrived, we thought all was good. Then in August of 2011, UPS Supply Chain collections calls me, the shipper, to collect on $1600 in unpaid third party charges for the shipment in March. Apparently, if UPS isn't paid by a third party, the shipper is responsible. Also apparent, Ernest at Mantruk knows this and runs an online scam to bilk people of cash without any intention on paying the actual UPS/FedEx bill. You'll get your shipment, and you'll leave him a positive review somewhere, but then you'll get stuck with a much larger bill from UPS/FedEx months later.

Avoid this trash like the plague - he's about to find himself in jail - we know a few people in law enforcement and have contacted them - Ernest, your days of pulling this crap are almost over.
