An agent, not a mover, underbids job. - Moving Review

Neighbors is NOT a moving company. They are an agent who charges you to contract a moving company for you. They did not reveal this up front (it is in their complete contract), they deliberately underbid the estimate and revised it after they received the deposit.  They gave us firm dates for moving, long before they contracted with the mover, and did not meet the dates they stated were firm.  At the time we contracted, they told us delivery would be in three days. At the time of pick up, we were told up to two weeks. Since we were a small move, our items were taken to another location where they were loaded onto a different truck. And while we received all of the box numbers given, some of theboxes had missing numbers and we're not on the inventory.  Not normallyimportant, except that after going through all of the boxes they packed for us, we were missing several expensive items, including our computer and keurig coffee maker. We now are caught trying tosort thingspurt with the multiple carriers who carried our stuff.  I would strongly suggest contracting directly with your own carrier and avoiding the hassles of dealing with an agent.
