As bad as it gets - Moving Review

I highly, highly suggest everyone stay far away from hiring this company. They are unprofessional and crooked. I will give you the shortened version of story:

Two men show up a day early to move our stuff, reeking like smoke (not tobacco either). The main mover proceeds to yell at us for having too much stuff for a 2 bedroom apartment, when we have less than just about everyone else we know. He then looks around and doubles the quote to 3000. Then once its all packed, and in the truck, he ups it, again to 3800 or so.

Then after 4 days I call to find out where my stuff is along the way. They refer me to their driver, who speaks no english. Luckily I speak some broken Spanish and I got out of him that he was in NYC and would not be here for at least 4 days. He also told me he had never heard of statewide movers. What the...?

Finally the guys show up a week and a half later in a distgusting large moving truck. Every piece of my furniture STUNK like a musty/moldy rooms. The one good thing I will say is the guys that showed up to unload, while they didn't speak much english were nice guys and worked pretty hard. I don't hold them responsible.

Various other problems, I was treated like garbage by their customer service, and my calls were consistently not returned. I was told I could pay on a CC or debit and then was told by the driver at the 11th hour I had to make a check payable to him. The drivers overtly hit on my wife.

So yeah, I would highly advise anyone to stay away from this garbage company.
