Bottom line was that the car got to destination at quoted price in the same condition it was sent. But the experience and communication with contractor (Tucker shipping) was not satisfactory. Pickup was two days later than projected, and driver arrived at 8:30 p.m. His truck cable wasn't working so he had to repair that, and it took him 1.5 hours to put my vehicle on his truck and depart (i.e., 10 p.m.). This was on a Wednesday. Car was to be delivered to Austin., Texas by Sunday, but it did not end up being delivered until Tuesday. Any communication had to be initiated by me - contractor didn't return calls and often didn't answer phone. A positive was that the folks in truck (driver and his wife, I assume) were polite and helpful when I reached them, and they were nice to my daughter when she arrived to pick up the car.I just think the contractor was over-committed and put more demands on his drivers than was reasonable. The auction delivery price was good, $300 less than I could find by calling local auto haulers.
