AVOID AT ALL COST - Moving Review

This moving company is awful. At first you call and everything is delightful and egar to help. The estimate was far below what I actually paid. When the movers show up, do NOT sign anything before you read EVERY word! They packed my vacuum in a a box for $60 and also wrapped my matress in a box for another $100. not to mention other items that were already packed that the movers decided to pack again and charge me. $110 dollars for srink wrap and no one could show me where it was used. When I tried to inquire about these extra fees and my dissatisfaction, I spent over 3 hours on the phone. Someone named Lee finall agreed to discount me $580 for all of the items I was overcharged for. Later the owner, Danny (who will deny being the owner or even the manager) removed all of the discounts I had been given because he thought I was not a nice person. So, when all was said and done I spent $900 more than what I was quoted. Several things were broken (don't bother calling about that either. Gold Star will tell you to file a claim with someone else). Both of my bikes are trashed. SERIOUSLY, take the tile to read other reviews and look at the BBB website. Gold Star has horraible reviews. I wish I would have done the research before hiring them.
