There were 4 people who packed and picked up out stuff in Houston. Where as in Bloomington there were only 2 drivers who were supposed to unload and assemble the furniture. They told us they will arrive between 11 am -1pm on 7/21/12. They did not show up until 8 pm. Obviously they were tired after the long drive. They unloaded some of our stuff and said will come at 8 am next morning but did not show up until 10 am. They started unloading our stuff. There were 2 trucks that had come. After they unloaded one truck in the garage. There was some leakage in the roof in one of the trucks as five of our boxes (containing electronics) were soaking wet. The driver did take pictures of it. In one of the boxes there was a music system and toaster which the driver also checked were not working anymore. Also I had a blender in the same box and because of the moisture the motor of the blender was not working. Then they started to unload the second truck. They was somebody elses furnitute in the second truck. They did not know which part of the truck had our stuff. They took few hours to figure out where our stuff was. Finally they unloaded all the boxes in the garage. The driver told me he will keep the boxes in the respective rooms after he assembles the furniture. They unwrapped the furniture. There were lot of broken pieces from the furniture- China cabinet. Study table,Book shelf ,chest of Drawers, leg of arm chair, Dent in stainless steel trash can to name a few.When they started assembling the master bed they could not find the screws that came with the bed. Wasted a lot of time looking for them but were unable to find. Needless to say it was already evening with all our boxes still in garage and our furniture unassembled. One driver said he had to leave for his other job and they promised that the second driver will come next day to check the inventory. As I knew some of the boxes were missing.. I waited the next day but nobody showed up. I called the office in Houston. Coby reassured me he will call the driver. Lilly called me later to inform me that nobody was coming. I told her that my inventory was missing and the driver has not signed off my inventory list. My boxes were still in garage. My furniture was still unassembled. They screws that they had lost were so unusual that I had to order them specially. It took me three days of running around to find them. I had to hire private help to help me move the boxes. Lilly has told me she will contact a local moving company to help me but they did not show up until next day after I had already hired private help. I have been very disappointed with the whole move and with their customer service.
