AVOID THIS MOVER - Moving Review

HORRIBLE. Items have been damaged and lost. I have received items from SOMEONE ELSE'S MOVE. Owner put employees in untenable situations in front of me. Owner strong armed me into paying $3000 DURING PICKUP despite being assured by Michael H. that no money was due on pickup (I was forced to write the check to the order of one of his employees not to the company). Owner does not take responsibility for anything, including promises made by his employees. Not only that, the owner tried to offload his problems to me (he had to be reminded time after time that it was HIS company, not mine). If you must do business with this company DEMAND EVERYTHING IN WRITING FROM THE OWNER, no one else's word is valid. You may want to consider recording all conversations with this company to protect yourself (I've never had to do that before). I will be posting a more thorough review of my experience, along with pictures of some of the items damaged during the move, at michaelshames.info within the next few days. This company is irresponsible and I do not understand the positive reviews, FIND ANOTHER MOVER!!! One last point, many of the boxes had been so badly damaged during the move that even the drivers delivering my items were embarrassed by their condition.
