We are a professional couple who just moved from Texas to California with White Flower, and we thought we had done our research. We were misled by both White Flower representatives (Forrest and Sarah) and the Better Business Burreau rating of "average" (we will be writing to the BBB also to address our experience.). White Flower treated us professionally, with white gloves until we signed the binding contract for $3600. We had tremendous difficulty getting our questions answered about insurance and storage. But their price was so low, and they convinced us we would be fine. After signing the contract, suddenly somehow our move had been contracted out to some random private driver. These movers unaffiliated with White Flower arrived at our house with a Budget rental moving van(!), and informed us that our items would be transfered vans 2 or more times en route from Texas to California. The moving van arrived at the destination 5 days after the verbally promised arrival date. In fact, when I called Forrest at White Flower the day before we expected our stuff, we found out the contracted driver had not even left the origial departure city yet. White Flower wiped their hands of us, and told us to contact the driver directly. We packed our boxes ourselves, and have NEVER had any problems with how we pack items. Our boxes arrived battered, caved in and crumpled. The boxes covered in red "FRAGILE" tape looked like they had been dropped from a 10 story building. Furniture was dented. Large plastic storage bins were ruined. I called White Flower immediately and Sarah was downright RUDE. Sarah, who had previously been nice on the phone, said I had to go thru the driver's company to file a claim, which was in direct contradition to what the driver said. After accusing us of not packing "well enough" and blaming US for the damage, Sarah stated, "You know we were suspicious of you two asking us all these questions about moving insurance. It raised red flags for us." Wow. Then she said she would talk to her supervisor and call me back the next day. 3 weeks later we haven't heard from her. No one has called us to ask any follow up questions, or survey us about our experience. We ordered moving insurance thru a private company unaffiliated with White Flower, and will be filing claims thru them for damages. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!!!!! Pay more, or do it yourself.
