Claim - Moving Review

On August 27, 2010 I had shipped household goods from Puerto Rico to New York using Rosa Del Monte as the contracted movers. On September 24, 2010 the good were delivered to the New York location where a specific item was missing. A claim was filed immediately and contact was established with Mr. Carlos Figueroa at the Rosa Del Monte Office located at: 1133-35 Tiffany Street, Bronx NY 10459. Phone# (718) 991-3300. On October 1, 2010 I received a letter from Mr. Carlos Figueroa stating acknowledgement that the claim was received, thanking me for detailed information regarding the claim and the monetary value. I was assured in this letter that my claim would be processed as quickly as possible and that I was to feel free to contact him regarding this claim at any time for any assistance necessary. Since then I feel I have been stonewalled with excuses and delays. I have made contact numerous times with Mr. Figueroa to no avail. I have left messages that have gone unanswered and today is February 18, 2011. To this date, I have not received my monetary claim compensation nor has Mr. Carlos Figueroa done anything to satisfy my claim. Mr. Carlos Figueroa is now telling me via telephone conversation on February 18, 2011, that he is going to send me a claim form that has to be sent back to him so he can then determine if a claim payout will be made to me. This contradicts the letter Mr. Carlos Figueroa sent to me dated October 1, 2010 stating that my claim will be processed as soon as possible. Dealings with this moving company has been a nightmare. All I want is for my Claim to be satisfied. I am being mislead by Mr. Carlos Figueroa and Rosa Del Monte Worldwide Movers and want this issue resolved immediately.
