CUSTOMER BEWARE!!! - Moving Review

ABS is an absolutely terrible moving company. They forgot all about our pick-up date and had to arrange a last-minute pick-up of our stuff, which lead to multiple inconveniences for me and my family.

To make matters worse, they were 2 WEEKS LATE in delivering our belongings. It was a nightmare trying to reach somebody on the telephone to figure out what was going on. When someone did pick up, it was the usual "Give me your number and I'll look in to it and call you back". The problem is they never call you back.

When I demanded a small portion of my money back (prior to delivery) THEY THREATENED to take our stuff to storage. Can you believe that? They were going to hold my belongings hostage if I didn't pay them their money.

Considering all the inconveniences they had caused, not to mention breaking their contract and not delivering within the time period they had guaranteed, I thought it would've been fair for me to get a partial refund. Instead, I was told to kiss goodbye to my belongings if I didn't pay.

I highly advise not using ABS, unless you enjoy poor customer service and you think it's fun to guess when your stuff will arrive. I chose ABS because I was short on time and was not able to research all the moving companies out there. I recommend you do your research, and once you do, you will see that ABS is simply a poor excuse for a moving company. Once they have your money, customer service goes out the window, and your belongings, to them, is nothing more than leverage.

Bottomline: CUSTOMER BEWARE!!! Go with a more reputable moving company!
