deceptive pricing and sales practices - Moving Review

Do not use this mover, both United and Todd will give you a, what they call a quote, ( its non-binding) they quote 2 prices, one price is low, the second is 110% of the first price, when you agree to the lower price, which they say is a discount for prepayment, pay the bill, the day of pick up they charge you the 110% price! Then say if there are no additional charges you may get a refund 30 days after delivery! I contacted the home office, they refused to refund the differance now even knowing what the salesperson stated. Their reason was there may be hidden or additional services at delivery! And to beat all, my total weight was 1300lbs, and I had to pay for a minimum of 2100 lbs. So they get a fee for 800 lbs of furtinue they never moved and 10% on top of that for doing nothing at all! I was told, my complaint was meaningless and the companies will survive... I am quite sure they will with these prices! DONT USE THIS COMPANY!
