Disaster - Moving Review

When packing boxes on your own it is important that there is no air space. It is not the carrier’s responsibility if the boxes were not packed by the carrier. When carrier packs customer’s belongings, a high standard cardboard box which can handle the stack in the truck is used. Unfortunately not all boxes that are used by customers are to that standard. Furniture can get wet if loaded or unloaded during rain. Despite our recommendation to stop loading or unloading while raining, in some cases a customer will demand no delay and request us to continue. All instructions on how to file a claim are on our website. Customer service is available during normal business hours; if you don’t get anyone on phone we return phone calls promptly. All jobs are picked-up by us; deliveries may sometimes be done by our owner operator delivery agents. As an industry norm, most deliveries in the continental U.S. are performed by owner operators. This is not a third party service as the owner operators are under exclusive contract to us. There are many factors that weigh on delivery delays, such as weather conditions, equipment break-downs, etc. We strive to deliver within a reasonable time frame.
