DISHONESTY, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND YOUR ITEMS WILL BE STOLEN! ***** - Moving Review

I hired this company because it was the lowest quote I received and they seemed very professional and eager to answer my questions.  What I didn’t realize was that they wanted my money and like any good thief they would do anything to gain my trust.   When they arrived they explained that all packing supplies were extra, of course the sales rep I worked with said there were no hidden costs and depending on if I had more items the estimate may increase a little.  After a long time of them talking and laughing and carrying on like they were at a friend’s party they finally loaded my belongings. The driver then asked me for 70% down after my items were loaded, said that was the cost if I wanted the items taken otherwise it would be unloaded and I could figure it out. The catch is the only take cash or check…now I know it’s so there is no recourse in getting payment back from them. Beware because my estimate doubled from what Melissa gave me to what the driver said I had..in comparing the list I had three more boxes...that's it!!
The driver came and delivered my things he was also the unloader and what should have taken an hour (because I only had 102 items) took almost 5 hours. He spent most of his time again on the phone talking and kept interrupting me to talk about my security system and his 5000 children he has…sorry not interested in your life!
The driver didn’t check any of the items off and so a day later I went through everything and 10 ITEMS were missing. Not just little items…an large room size oriental rug, the original shop sign from when my grandfather opened his business, a sled, two large mirrors, paintings. I feel like these “movers” loaded up the truck and took it somewhere and picked out the best items where they would eventually be considered “lost”. I see other people having similar problems with this company. Either their process is horrible or their drivers and helpers are stealing from their customers…either way Frank nor any of the other management seems to care.   Please please do not use this company; it will not be a good experience you will just be another casualty to add to the list!!!! The stuff will reach either damaged or missing.. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THEM.  All I can say is that if you value your personal belongings, or expect delivery of your items, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Once they have your money, it will be very difficult to get in touch with them. The items that do get delivered will be smashed, or destroyed or missing altogether.
