DO NOT USE - DAMAGED PROPERTY - Moving Review

I manage a Self Storage facility in Spring Valley, CA and State Wide Relocation moved one of our tenants into their storage unit. Not only were the drivers incompetent and rude, they irreparably damaged one of our metal storage buildings and an embankment with a retaining curb.

They could have easily turned the truck around by driving a short distance around our lot but instead decided to take a "short cut" and back up an embankment, damaging a retaining curb. In the process they pulled forward and back repeatedly hitting the door of a storage unit, damaging the building beyond repair. Replacement of the building will cost a minimum of $15,000 and will require the displacement of multiple tenants. We have filed a police report and are pursuing criminal vandalism charges against State Wide Relocation and their parent company.

Additionally the movers damaged multiple items belonging to our tenants including a valuable motorcycle, tool boxes and other items, and they moved the wrong boxes into storage.

As a storage facility many people ask for recommendations on moving assistance and we would NEVER recommend this company to ANYONE.
