I worked with Emerson via phone on the moving quote. I spoke with him at least a half a dozen times before my moving date and he was very nice and very helpful. Except that everything he told me was a lie.
I spoke with Emerson and Moschi (who they claimed was the owner) the day before and two days prior to my move to confirm pick up. I had to fly to another state to meet their truck.
The day of the move, they didn't show up for 8AM move. I spoke with Moschi several times, who kept telling me a truck would be there "very soon". They never showed. Moschi told me they would be there the next day. They did not show. This went on for two more days, before Flat Rate Movers simply stopped taking my calls. They blew me off and never showed up.
I wish I had read reviews of this company before I gave them my trust. The move was supposed to cost me $1500 and I ended up paying another moving company almost $4,000 (with 2 days notice for the move) my travel expenses.
Do yourself a favor and do NOT use this company. They are not good people.
