Review on Northern Van Lines

Beware of this company!

After interviewing several moving companies, I chose Nirthern Van Lines--big mistake! They state that they are an actual moving company, but this is in accurate--they are brokers.

After the movers came to pick up my things on June 22, I never heard back from Robert at Northern Van lines or anyone else from the company. Once they had my deposit, they were done with me! The initial delivery window was June 26-July 5th. I didn't receive my things until July 16!!

The truth is that northern contracts out with moving connection inc-- a company near Denver. If you have hired northern, can't get ahold of anyone, and want to know where your stuff is--- look up MCI and contact them.

My moving experience was very stressful, but thankfully we received all of our things.

I would also recommend checking out 'protect my move'-- it's a website from the department of transportation, and has some great resources- including complaints filed against companies, etc. According to the DOT, if the movers are late, they are required to notify you in writing or email--this never happened with northern.
