After paying over three thousand dollars for a move that was delayed, I wound up having to put my belongings into storage, and wound up finding out that after I signed the papers that I am not elgible for getting damaged payments for items broken damaged and stolen!!!! I was suppose to open all my boxes and check every item before signing this form...... there were four moving items in and two rushing me to sign the forms so they could go make another deleivery!!! Basically make them stay there open the boxes they packed check your items first or be fried!!!! Check every piece of furniture every item because if you dont Colonial Van Lines will NOT do a @#^$$^ thing to help you!!! I am also warning others about American Van Lines if you ask them if they will be the ones moving you and they say yes they are lying!!! They wind up farming your job out to other companies with out you knowing until they show up in this case Colonial Van Lines.... I have broken glass in my buffet doors they kept the blanket over it as they put it in.. they banged up scratched up brand new furniture to antiques and every cushion on my couch has a run or huge grease stains on them!!! BEWARE AND LORD IF THEY DROP A BOX YOU PACKED TO BAD SO SAD!!!! I am in search of a good Lawyer who would love to see my 176 photos of damage!!!!
