Excellent Service - Moving Review

I've heard horrible moving stories from my co-workers, and I didn't know what to expect with my move from Florida to New York. Some even suggested the moving companies they used because they were cheap on pricing, but in the end, I decided to use the movers I thought we're reasonable within my budget.
My move was done in August 2010, and thanks to United States Van Lines, I had a great moving experience. I spoke to Hugo Perez, my estimator, and from the beginning to the end of my move Hugo was polite and extremely professional. He quoted me $1,800.00 just for the transportation of my items (I packed everything prior to them arriving and didn't need their unpacking services) - the price seemed very reasonable - so I chose to go with them. I had a very specific date and time, and I stressed to him that I would not be supervising the move since I had to get things settled in my new place. I was told the movers were going to arrive at my old place on Friday (6th) anywhere from 3pm to 6pm to load my belongings and get them out on the road; I specified I needed my things in NYC no later than Sunday (8th). The movers on the job were, Rick and Angel - I have to say, my mother (who supervised my move) said these two guys were so hardworking and polite, they never once complained, and even packed some things I had forgot to pack - which I greatly appreciated. Thanks to Hugo, who kept me up to date with everything and the dedication and hard work of the movers everything arrived on time. I must admit I was a little skeptical about the timing but it all worked out fine.

All I have to say about my experience with United States Van Lines is do not believe everything you read. They did and exceptional job with my move, and I would use them time and time again!
