Fraud Alert - Moving Review

Fraud Alert. This company was a traumatic disaster for us. Started off OK only to get our deposit from their salesperson Marilyn who did anything to make us feel at ease. I was extremely detailed in getting a firm binding quote. Then the movers Vladimir (he's the ringleader) called and showed up a day early with laborers he picked off the street. Caught us off guard and said he's only doing inventory but next they started packing stuff. All was fine until an old truck showed and they loaded up. Then they told us we are overloaded and have to pay $8,000 extra. We drove to highway weigh station and we were 4,000 pounds UNDER WEIGHT so they instead charged us $6,000 EXTRA for packing materials. Vladimir said we have to pay or they will seize our stuff. I called the police but they said can't get involved. I had to pay half to get them moving after their office said they will reduce the charges if we don't complain anymore. They then showed up 6 days later in New York (after we were quoted for a direct 2 day move) and wanted all cash before they will unload. They threatened us everyday as the items were in transit to seize and hold our items. Told us they will dump our stuff in a warehouse in Philly and let us go to arbitration. These people have this scheme totally orchestrated and everyone is in on it. You can't win. They know you can't do anything even if you have high connections. The owner pretends to have panic attack when you complain. They have no heart knowing our kids were also emotionally affected by the move.
