Items never delivered, deposit kept by WWVL - Moving Review

I signed a contract with World Wide in May of this year (2012) and they withdrew a deposit from my account. I had a small move of a 8 boxes and 2 bicycles. They gave me a "window" of 6/2 to 6/3 for pick up of my items. I had a job waiting for me in Southern California. I am now out here and STILL waiting. I contacted the company and they said they'd have a service manager return my calls. They never did. I contacted the BBB in FL. (their headquarter are there) and explained my situation. They said WWVL said "we returned her deposit as she canceled the move". They very much wanted me to cancel the move as I am small potatoes to them in prime moving season compared to 5,000 sq. ft. home moves. I NEVER canceled the contract verbally or written and have not had a return of my deposit. I told the BBB I'd be more than glad to fax over copies of my bank statements showing my deposit to them and their non refund (which I didn't want anyway) from them. In order to sue them, you have to do so in the county in which they're located. Yeah, I'm going back and forth from CA. to FL. to fight over a 10 box move. But the items in those boxes are essential for my work.    Stay away from World Wide Van Lines unless you want to get royally ripped off.
