LIARS - Moving Review

Smooth talkers that feed you a bunch of bull shit to sell you their service. The minute they have received your deposit dont expect your communication with them to exist much more. I was first appointed a lady by the name of Gloria to work with me through my moving experience. When I called to ask more specific questions reguarding my move, she was on vacation for the entire week of my move. They continued to push me off to customer service and then began talking to a lady by the name of Tanya. She was as much help as Gloria, whom I never spoke with. They told me my move would be on a Friday or Saturday and would be contacted 24 to 48 hrs prior to the move. I asked for these dates but had to be out of the apartment by Saturday. The driver finally contacted me about 6 o'clock on that Friday only to ask if he could push it off until Monday because he was coming from 4 hrs away. I said absolutely not. He showed up about 4 o'clock on Saturday afternoon and took FIVE HOURS to load a 2 bedroom apartment. He told me he would be at my destination on Thursday the next week and it wouldnt be any later than Friday. I had his number to call and find out where he was at. Tanya continued to call me and tell me that the drivers were going to be there on Thursday. She really had no idea because the drivers were still sitting in St. Louis (8 hrs away) on Wednesday night and telling me that they wont be there by Thursday and they had to talk with my company because he is just the driver. I know that the reason for them waiting is that they are hoping another move with pop up between our locations and they can do a quick pickup and make a few more bucks with my load sitting in their truck. They now know my phone number and everyone continues to ignore my call because they know I am going to rip their ass. I hope my shit has not been sold on the black market somewhere in the midwest by this time. I sure hope that whatever you do you DO NOT USE AMERICAN VAN LINES FOR YOUR NEXT MOVE.
