David Anderson played this really nice guy to get my business, then pressured me into placing a deposit for their services. I did so after he guaranteed my move would be completed before Christmas. They swore that they had three drivers to move this load cross country and that it would arrive in 5-6 days. They presented me with a quote online for $2200. I thought it was odd that the page will not allow you to right click on it so that you can print it, but I managed by hitting print screen and pasting it into "Paint".
Once the guys arrived to load they had a budget rental truck , which I thought was suspicious, then theysaid that I had too much stuff and the price would be $1500 higher. I was over a barrel, after arguing with them and them getting mouthy I finally gave in as I had no other choice at the moment. I signed the document but signed it with ucc 1-308 which means you are signing it under duress and it is not valid.
Then as the they are loading, they tell me that I can't take my washer and drier unless I pay an additional $450! I left them behind. They demanded a cash payment of half the amount owed so wehn I wnet to the bank to get the money they closed up the truck. I found stuff in the bushes after they left that they didn't want to load!
I arrived on the east coast on Dec. 20, delevery was supposed to be Dec 21-22nd. I kept calling and Emailing David to try tofind out when the movers wouold arrive and where the truck was in its journey and refused to give me any answers, just very short and curt "you will get a call 24 hours before it arives". I keep calling and no one would answer the phone. I finally spoke to someone and the guy started yelling at me and telling me it wasn't his problem then hung up on me.
The truck finally arrived on January 2nd. a Holiday. The driver, Isaac, called me on New years day to tell me he would arrive between 7 am and noon on the second and that i needed to have the money waiting for him. He arrived at 2 Pm and I could not get the money because the banks were closed and so was the post office. He was really arrogant, he called the company and David wanted to speak with me, and he is playing this nicey, nicey, Hey J Happy Holidays, you know you gotta pay so they can unload. I told him it was a holiday ansd everythign was closed and then he got mouthy so i humg up on him, next the owner of the company called and he started out just yelling at me so I hung up on him as well.
I called the police but this state does not regulate movers and they said it was civil adn I had to sue them. Then they left with my stuff because I could not get the money on a holiday. They came back the next day and charged me an additional $350!!
This company is run by thieves and liars, David Anderson is unethical and unprofessional. He will out right lie to you to get the business then totally screw you the first opportunity he gets.
