Today is June 25, 2011 and I am experiencing some difficulties with this "experience moving" company. When they first arrived at pick up they tried to charge us $300.00USD over what the normal price was. The tried to also put extra "long carry" and "stairs" fee that was not brought to my attention when I got my quote. Then the movers got mad because we fought the prices and started getting on their phones and calling us names in Spanish to who ever they were talking to. They did not put all my boxes on the truck and did not pack the truck right. They put the boxes in, then my bed, and then head board. They said we went over and took some boxes out when you can clearly see there was room for them. Just when I though my problems with this company would be over it got worst when it came to delivery my items. They got here and tried to do the "stairs" fee again so we told them leave it at the bottom of the steps and we would carry everything up. Being that we are two tiny females I guess they felt bad and started helping us move some of the items but not all of them. When the moving was done I ran back down to the truck and told them that my head board was missing. The movers said they seen it and it was on their truck. They told me they would bring it by the end of the day because everyone elses things were in the way to where they could not get to my head board. They did not bring it back. I have been on the phone with them for the past five days waiting for them to bring my head board. Calling the corporate office and the drivers. The corporate office is not helping they keep giving us the drivers numbers. Sherry is the lady at the corporate office telling us that she can gives us the drivers numbers but there is nothing further she can do to help get my head board back. The drivers Alex and Kenya keep giving me the run around. Alex hung up on my friend Shelon Baker twice while she was talking to him. He was talking over her and being very disrespectful. It has been five days since the delivery date and I still have not gotten my head board. I have been sleeping on the floor and am now getting neck and back pains. I have contacted the police and told Sherry I was going to contact them and she aaid " I can not stop you. Do what I want." The police told me to contact the business buearu and have their business lincese removed. This has become very nerve wrecking because my head board holds my frame together and without it I have no bed. Plus it is an all leather $700.00USD head board. I just want them to either bring it back or pay for it.
