Metro Movers are a bad move - Moving Review

Metro Movers quoted us a price over the phone (which is not normal) in which they promissed 2- 26ft trucks and 5 movers. they showed up with 2 - 22ft trucks and 3 movers.. We had packed most of our own stuff (glad we did) which were the only things that arrived unbroken/. They took twice as long as they were suppose to (thats what happens when your short 2 guys) which causedd the actual bill to double from their estimate?. The things that they packed were packed in boxes with no packing paper (even though I had supplied it and had 6 unopened boxes) and several of the boxes were not even taped on the bottom (they just folded the flaps on the bottom):. They broke glass top coffe tables, dented stainless steel fridges, broke pictures, desks, statues, electronics, and much much more;. They scratched tables, chairs, treadmills, and walls!. tore couches and damaged 84' tv's" ($561.00 to fix). They borrowed "snap on" tools to take apart and re-assemble my "bowflex" and treadmill and then never gave them back;. Worse yet... the owner promised he would make it right and WOULD NOT charge my credit card until he did. The following day he charged my card (without any authorization) and has never responded to any calls or done one thing to make it right. This is the most unprofessional excuse for a moving company I have ever seen. Do yourself a favor and do not let this company touch your stuff. They are crooks and the owner is a liar and totaly irresponsible.
