I was told that furniture did not need to be boxed and that the trucks were so clean I didn't need to cover my mattress. As soon as the movers arrived, I was told everything had to be boxed and shrinkwrapped and they were charging extra for materials, etc. They quoted me on weight and then charged extra for cubic feet. When my items arrived at 11:30pm 5 days after pickup, everything was damaged, most of it beyond repair. All boxes were crushed ruining lamp shades and breaking glasses, my new mattress had a huge hole and was scraped and dirty on the corners, my cedar chest was gouged and the hinges were bent and sprung, the mirror they delivered wasn't even mine but was shattered in a million pieces, my tables were gouged and broken. The delivery driver held my stuff hostage until I paid him cash up front. I haven't been able to file a claim because customer service was supposed to send me a claim form on email and I haven't received it. Now they won't answer my phone calls. I have moved 23 times in my life and this was the most unprofessional, miserable and disappointing move ever. I'm going to hire a lawyer because these people need to be put out of business or change their ways. They should be ashamed of themselves for hurting so many people and being so dishonest.
