Mover Beware!!!! - Moving Review

Recently I used Red Lion’s services and I would never use them again.  The initial quote given from the inventory list was almost three thousand less than the final cost.  This company will underbid all the others but then you’ll end up paying two times more that their initial quote. The representative who initially gave all the information had no idea what she was doing and once the nightmare of the move begun, it was like the representative didn’t even work for the company because she gave so much wrong information. This company measures by space not pounds which the rep initially stated. Some of my items were scratched up or damaged.  Your items will not be handled with care, but instead shoved into the truck (like sardines) with other movers items. My items were picked up in a truck about 25ft, but when my furniture was delivered they brought a 75 ft truck (Imagine that pulling into my apt complex). The truck was blocking in half of my new neighbors (great way to make a first impression). If I had to do this move again I would have definitely went with a local mover, who initially told me not to use out of state movers.  Moving is hard enough, especially one that’s long distance, so I suggest staying far away from this company.
