movers - Moving Review

Several things went bad:

1) They arrived to deliver and refused to do so until they were paid for their inflated estimate to complete the job. They said we would get credited the difference at a later date.

2) Despite showing them labels on boxes (most were color coded), signs on walls (boxes, tv, furniture placement) and telling them where to put items, they consistently put them in the garage or in incorrect rooms. They complained when asked to move them.

3) We provided water bottles on the loading end of the job. We had more than enough plastic disposable cups and water on the delivery side. They threw the cups away after one use and demanded more that we didn't have. Then they used up every glass and mug we had at the new place and we still haven't found them all.

3) Several items were damaged and they said "you can still use them." They damaged walls and left dirty fingerprints on walls.

4) Despite saying that they would take all the packing materials used for transporting furniture they left a huge pile of cardboard and a huge ball of used tape. All hidden behind boxes.

5) They demanded a tip. They expected to get one and when denied said they could take it off the amount to be credited. Who knows what will happen with that.

6) They were given lots of items that were to be sold/donated. They took things that they weren't given such as the sub woofer. One of the teens saw it on the truck and went to get it and they told him it was theirs.

All in all they were not what we expected.
