Moving furniture - Moving Review

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! We had a very expensive bed delivered from California to Texas. The bed arrived in damaged condition, partially due to Plycon Van Lines. I spoke with Michael Pliaconis, one of the owners, regarding the damage. He is the most dishonorable, vile, ruthless business person I have come in to contact with in a long time. He tried to blame all of the damages on the company that sold the bed to us. However, in our email exchange he unwittingly admitted that some of the damage was caused during shipment. After I pointed out his admission, he stopped communicating with me. I contacted the BBB and filed a complaint. As expected, he never responded to the BBB. He did, however, call me and advised that he would pay the contractual rate of 60 cents per pound for the damage. He stated that he would send the file to "corporate" and advise them to cut a check. The bed weighed several hundred pounds and I'm sure he did not count on that. I never heard from him again and never received a check. Michael Pliaconis is a liar and a horrible business person and I would never do business with this company again.
