National Moving and Storage - Moving Review

Mr. Anderson was provided the size of the home and the weights as given by other moving companies.  He was adamant that he would be able to move our property within his quote.  He asked for a 1 day extension and was given the extension for the move.  On the date of the move, a small truck arrived at the home and the movers even indicated that there was no way possible for their company to take the furniture. I spoke with David Anderson, he acknowledged the error was his and would send another truck but rather than the $4200 contract, he would need $8000.  I advised we had an agreement and a contract, he said he would not honor that agreement or contract and acknowleged that he would instead breach the contract. We will now file a breach of contract lawsuit against this company and seek a revocation of their CPUC and DOT license in addition to seeking treble damages. This is a company that needs to be put out of business and David Anderson needs to find a career in a profession that honesty is not necessary such as politics, used car sales or the fast food industry.
