Nightmare Move - Moving Review

I hired Lupica Movers to move my family from Lyndhurst, Ohio to Aurora, Ohio. I scheduled them over a month in advance as our move-in date was very important to us.

Two trucks and four men were scheduled to show up at 8 a.m. First they over slept, then they got caught by a train, then, no joke, they had a physical altercation and were "regrouping", whatever that means. They finally showed up FIVE HOURS LATE. They offered a 10% discount for their tardiness.

Upon showing up, the extremely rude driver wanted to change my move to the following morning after I waited for five hours. I said absolutely not and insisted on moving that day.

The move occurred and resulted in a few minor things being broken (a couple of drawers, closet organizer, glass for desk top). However, they dented and scratched my newborn's recently purchased chest in no less than 7 places. To hide the damage, they placed the chest up against a window, behind a king mattress and box springs. They smashed the door frame on our new home. Our 20 foot extension ladder did not make it off of the truck and I have been begging for it to be returned for a week and a half.

The movers and company are extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. This was the move from hell and Lupica has done nothing to remedy the situation.
