Had used North American Van Lines before. Was in a hurry and didn't want to wait for a few quotes etc. Getting the pick up was difficult. Had to call them several times to keep them headed in the right direction. The day of the pick up they didn't show, next day they were several hours late, they totaly screwed up my tight schedule. I had to drive 1,000 miles in one day so I could get to my new office for work on Monday morning. The Houston pick up guys damaged a couple of lamps, they didn't do a good job. The delivery guys were ok, out of California. They mentioned the Houston guys didn't do a good job as well, saying the Houston NAL guys don't really want to do household moves. Anyway the California NAL guys were a couple days early which was actually good, I could get in my place and settled over the weekend instead of receiving over the weekend. Cost a little high, I think maybe 2100 or 2000 should have been right. I think less than $1.75 per mile is a good price.
