PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU HIRE THEM - Moving Review

I have at this point left 4 messages for the "claims/customer service department" regarding the items that my so called professional movers damaged yesterday. 1. They TAPED my dresser drawers shut ( I was told during my estimate that they would be wrapped not tapped) when they carelessly ripped off the tape it pulled the vainer finish of the front of the drawers
2. A cedar chest that has been in my family now for 4 generations now how a huge crack running across the top that I have been told is going to be costly to repair
3. My TV stand in the living room has a chip in the front lip on the wood

They were EXTREMLY unprofessional (kept joking about watching franks video as they couldn't figure out how to get the box spring up the stairs) Asked me about their tip 6 times and kept mentioning that they may go faster if I would tell them how much I was giving per guy and then was told that if I didn't give at least 50 a man that it would take them an hour and a half longer. The same move into that apartment (from a 2nd floor to a 3rd floor) with more stuff (as I purged a ton of stuff to buy new in my home) than they moved took myself and my husband with 1 other person half the time it took "professional" movers and had my husband not been laid up with back surgery I would have sent those guys home within the 1st half hour.

The one gentleman was on his cell phone more than he was moving stuff which I'm sure added to the 5 hours it took them to move my apartment, they did not come prepared with their own water and asked myself and my neighbors (and again did I let you know how many times I was asked about their tip) for water (which I don't think I would have minded if they had moved a little faster and been more professional) I am just glad that I moved a ton of boxes over before they got there because I can't even being to imagine how much longer it would have taken them to move all the stuff I packed.

All of this after they were 4 hours late with no phone call from the company to tell me this it took me several calls to dispatch to figure out where my movers were.

All in all I WOULD NEVER use this moving company again, all I want from them is restitution on the damaged items so that I can forget this horrible experience.
