I have moved 11 times and this was the worst by far. The driver called 4 days before the move to come in for pickup. They were not scheduled to pack us until 3 days later. The packers did a poor job of consolidating all items. The driver arrived with no tools , few pads and no floor cover during a rain storm. The loaders broke a hole in one door and did not have enough room for all the items. Built a frame on the tailgate and threw all remaining items into open box on the tailgate and headed out in the rain. Damage items include a TV, treeadmill, pictures and missing items as well. The driver spoke poor english and was rude because He wanted to pick up 4 days earlier. We tried to get another driver to deliver the goods at the end of the trip but got the same rude driver still with no tools. You would think he would aprreciate that I supplied him all the tolls that were needed but no..
So the claim was filed and 6-8 week later approved. Called and emailed for the check but could never get a confirmation of status of refund check. A few weeks after filing with BBB We recieved a check from Bekins. I would hope this provides some guidance to all to avoid this company at all cost. We recieved three quotes and they were the middle cost so we thought we would be safe. Not true.
