Ray Parr - Moving Review

Initially, Budget Van Lines provided a time range of three days when the driver would arrive. Said that the driver would call two days before arrival. Didn't happen. Then, the driver said he wasn't coming to Aransas Pass. He decided not to take the job. Budget then rescheduled with another driver. He failed to arrive on the day of his scheduled day. He continued to revise the day and time he would arrive, causing me to miss my flight out of town. I had to pay $215 to change my ticket and extend my car rental at additional expense. I repeatedly called Budget Van Lines and could not get anyone to take responsibility for what was happening. Finally, after waiting days at a house that was basically full of packed boxes, and never really knowing when the moving company would show up, they did arrive. Then the shipment disappears into a black hole. I made many more calls about delivery. Nobody seemed to know anything. Finally, weeks later a driver calls and his only concern was that I had cash in my hands to pay him and then he would make the delivery. I told him that I talked to Budget and a person there noted my expenses and acknowledged that a discount should be provided. However, he would not put it on paper. Do not use!!!!!!!!!! Do not use this company for any move!!!!!!!
