Royalty Relocation Movers - Moving Review

They were 1 hour 15 minutes late - let me know that when I was sitting at the storage unit waiting for them. Had to stop for a gas card from their company's office on our way, and then wait while they all went in and chatted inside. THEN they moved blankets for another job into the truck, as I waited in my car for over 10 minutes. First guy was a player who was more interested in showing me his muscles than working, second guy was his first day - poor guy, really nice, worked hard, I hope he finds a reputable company to change to. THEN they held my my furniture hostage until I settled the entire inflated bill, (including $79 worth of materials - including 3 rolls of tape although everything I had was already boxed except some mirrors). When they got ready for me to pay the bill, the presented while before the entire truck was unloaded (pretty slick, eh?) I told them I was NOT paying the supplies, and was deducting an hour from the time, they said my furniture wouldn't be unloaded. I don't even think that's legal. On the phone the owner kept stating he was trying to work with me....., really?? Here's an idea, show up on time, if you're going to be late let the person know PRIOR to the meeting time. Don't lie about needing a gas card, because you planned incorrectly, don't tell the customer that the boxes will be $3.00 a piece and try to charge them $19.00 a piece (I signed a paper PRIOR to them moving my things, certainly not okaying the supplies). And here's the kicker, if there is a problem, you are not allowed to hold furniture hostage - that's what courts are for. Dishonest and Unprofessional.
