Owner (Jay according to the Driver), dispartcher (Ben, also a manager), the driver were extremely rude and unprofessional! Owner was threatneing me (as a client) to pay his driver or else he would put my stuffs on Auction when they came late and came on the Sunday where they expected to get the money order from a Postal Office (Which Postal Office is open on Sunday on this Earth?!). Lisa (the sale rep) sold the moving package to me to move from Mobile AL to The Woodlands TX for $1673 and the date to pick up items was Sunday, 7/8/12 but didn't show up until Tuesday 7/10/12 after several calls to their company. When they came to pick up stuffs, they charged another 225$ extra for the same list of items! The deliver date supposed to be Saturday 7/14/12 but no ones or any phone calls received. I called the dispatcher (Ben) and he told me the truck would deliver on Monday/Tuesday (7-16/7-17). On Sunday, the driver called and told me that they are on the way to my apartment. With short notice and being on Sunday, i couldn't get the Money order from Postal Office. Once the driver got to the apartment, i asked them either except personal check or come back on Monday/Tuesday like they have told me. The driver rudely said, no! I'll go back to Georgia! I was like fine! 5 min later he came back and held me the phone with his owner on the other like yelled and me and threatnening to put my stuffs on Auction if i don't pay his driver! I ran out of my patience by then from late pickup/deliver then charged extra and for his rudeness! I told him go ahead and put them on auction but i'll get everything back from them and more! With the help from BBB.org (Better Business Bureau), they delivered my stuffs on Monday afternoon but charged me another $200. I didn't agree to pay but i was tired so i went ahead and paid. the two helpers were really nice unloading and unpacking all my stuffs but they driver were cussing and helping to put my bed togther but he was banging on it and cussing while putting it together. he ended up broke two of my bed legs! and my sofa, my chaise louge and end table were damaged! Before they finished all the unpacking, they took off bc the driver was rushing the other two helpers. I took pictures of the truck and driver and the driver started to cuss at me and ran off! Do not make the same mistake that i made. They will not post any negative reviews. I based on one good review from Phillip but i believe that might have been one of the inside the campany personel posted that! Do not hire SOCIAL MOVING GROUP to move you stuffs. They dont' worth any of your time and they don't deserve to get your business! If anyone wants to know more info about this company, don't hesitate to email me, i'll be gladly tell you more about this company! Stay Away from SOCIAL MOVING GROUP. They still haven't reponded to my email for asking for my damaged items!
