Social Moving Group0000 - Moving Review

I am a Senior Citizen I have move many times in my life, moving with this company is the most horrible experience of my life. Communication is horrible as they do not have full command of English language. Held my things hostage for more money after they were loaded, the estimate changed and additional money was demanded. My boxes were opened and retaped using a different color tape, I used clear tape and white reinforced tape to close my boxes and they used brown tape. Many items taken from my boxes. A lot  of the boxes were crushed and many items broken Two large boxes and a night table never arrived at destination. Driver demanded payment before starting to unload  or he would take my furniture back to point of origin and sell it at auction. Difficult people to deal with from the office staff and specially their manager/ dispatcher. Get everything in writing do not communicate verbally as they will tell you one thing and the next time they will deny that they said it.  Complaints with the GA Governors office of Consumer Affairs and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for Household Movers, BBB have been filed.
