*People need to know that the BBB gave this company an "F". The company is based in the LA area, with offices in Tarzana and Woodland Hills, California. Please don't confuse this unprofessional company with a company of the same name based in Las Vegas, which enjoys an "A" rating. *Overall Experience: Awful. Run from this company. They shouldn’t be in business, and an F rating says it all. *Price: Changed when they showed up at the door-In several phone calls prior to the pick-up day, we were told that we'd be charged by the pound, and the price of $1,200 was settled on which was based on having less than 2k lbs., which we weighed so that we stayed under 2k. The mover tells us that they charge by the cubit ft., something never mentioned before. We're stuck, having paid the $300 deposit in advance and we're up against the clock in leaving town. The price included a "crate" charge of $200 each for our 2 family heirlooms--a piano and grandfather clock. *Quality (lack of): Both piano and clock were damaged, and the bill to repair the clock we just learned is $200. The top piece was shorn off in the move.(The pendulum was outside the flimsy wrap when the truck arrived at our home!) The piano was scratched, and a globe stand, leather recliner, and lamp were also damaged. The last two weren't even wrapped, and the "crating" for the piano and clock was pieces of cardboard, plastic wrap, and a thin blanket that only covered part of each item. The piano cover pull-out wasn't even covering the keys, and the piano legs were taken off but laid within the plastic---rubbing against the piano body and scratching it! *Responsiveness (lack of): Awful customer service, with Jonathan (he never gave a last name)yelling at me, constantly cutting me off, not returning phone calls, and saying they have a "third party who works on complaints". The driver, a contracted person who was other than Ben, the first driver, (Ben and his helper were the ones who did the horrible packing job) told us he was just a "third party", and he couldn't help us with the complaint process since he was "just the delivery driver". We were overcharged just under $250 for an extra 64 cu. ft. we didn't use (we measured the exact space used on night of delivery), and our goods were damaged. *Punctuality (lack of): The delivery was almost 10 hrs. late (made in pitch black darkness, save a flashlight I held), the driver couldn't off-load big items without my husband's help, and the heirloom clock ended up in the shop due to the damages. The pick-up day which was 12/28/11, the driver was 3-4 hrs. late. *Professionalism (lack of): Nothing to speak of here. The management, packers, and the first driver (Ben) were inept and not professional at all. The delivery driver, (3rd party) did his job, but came alone. We saw him off-load and he clearly didn't damage any of our goods as he worked.
