Total Rip Off!!! - Moving Review

Total rip off!!! Extremely poor service. F rating with BBB. I contracted them for a move from Charllote, Nc to Boston, MA. After getting what seemed to be a reasonable quote based on the amount of items I had, I decided to go with them. Everything seemed fine until the day of the pick up. Once everything was on their truck, the driver told me I had a lot more stuff than was anticipated, so they basically doubled the price from $1.5k to almost $3k. They do not follow DOT regulations, such as informing you of additional weight charges prior to loading the stuff. In essence, they give you a non-binding estimate, meaning the charges are based on the actual weight, but they make no intentions to actually weigh your items and proceed as if they're dealing with a flat rate contract. It took them 35 days to make the delivery, and in the end they ended up subcontracting to another company. Most of my stuff was extremely damaged.
