TriState Moving assured me that my move from a 2 bedroom apartment to a single family home would be $800 at a maximum and would not take no more than 8 hours to complete. It took 15 hours to move me and TriState charged me $2,382.87. It took 7 hours to load my belongings on the truck. When the movers arrived at my new home, they made me sign an invoice for $2,382.87 before they would unload my belongings. When I refused to sign, they locked the truck and said they would not unload my belongings until I signed. I was forced to sign. How they knew what the final amount would be before they finished the job is beyond me, since they billed hourly. They broke my glass table top and severely damaged the wood and broke the metal part of my cocktail table. Mr. Parcells would not give me a copy of my receipt and would not give me a copy of the contract. Mr. Parcells told me to write a letter of complaint to the company and he would see what he could do. I did as he instructed, but I have not heard a word from him. I have no record of having done business with this company except the unbelievable amount of $2,382.87 that they charged my credit card. This company, which I believe is owned by Mr. Parcells, is unprofessional and unethical. I honestly don't know how they stay in business. It is definitely a bait and switch operation.
