My initial experience with this company was great. Diane was very nice and attentive while earning my business. My original pick up was scheduled for Feb 3rd. Because of when we needed it delivered, I was asked if the window could be moved to the 4th or 5th. Today was the 3rd, and I had heard nothing regarding pick up. I started calling at 8:00 am my time, left a message with Sean, the Diane. Neither returned my call. I called Sean again and was told I would be contacted by James from dispatch with a date. No call. Clled cust svc and was told still no date and no one avail in dispatch to speak to. A 'mgr' called me at 7pm to tell me that they are now not even certain if they will be picking up on the 4th or the 5th, and that no one will be able to tell me anything until tomorrow at 10 am. Closing on my house and the move in date for the new owners was scheduled according to the pick up dates. The new owners are moving in on the 6th, but Colonial seems very unconcerned with the potential predicament they are creating. Can only hope they make good and honor the time window in the contract. Will post their response when I receive it. But as for now, I absolutely recommend staying away from Colonial Van Lines. (please note delivery info is not correct as they have yet to even pick up).
