Watch For Add Ons - Moving Review

The movers themselves were great. Very friendly and professional. The company itself has some issues. These guys charge a very premium price for what they do but it leaves you wandering what it is that makes it worth the extra money. Heres the breakdown:
$1275.00 to pack the house, equals $160.00 per hour
$2040.00 to move two blocks, equals $340.00 per hour
$750.00 for packing materials
I was under the impression that for this huge amount of money packing and unpacking was included. Wrong. I had to unpack and put away everything. The lead mover told me someone was going to come get the boxes. Wrong.
Then I was told I needed to pay an additional $65.00 to remove the boxes from the property.
I paid an additional $580.00 for hanging artwork and mirrors, equals $100.00 per hour. They broke one of the pieces while doing this. I was told someone would come and get it to repair it. Wrong. I was then told that they paid for nothing until it was over $1000.00. To sum it up I have paid so far: $5025.00 to move two blocks & unpack myself. Parting gift, one broken piece of art.
