Called them one month in advance of move. They quoted me a high up front price, but promised no more surprises. I got screwed. the movers showed up late and missed my scheduled time in the elevator even though this was the time the workman told me to schedule. it cost me an extra $400 to rebook for later in the day. then they stayed past the buildings 6pm curfew for moves, and the blg property manager threatened to stop my move unless i agreed to pay another $100 late fee. even with all the extra time, the movers still managed to damage my furniture. they put a hole through my leather sofa and broke my table. don't use them if you care about your stuff. i've had much better experiences with two men and a truck for local moves and vanlines for long distance.
