Boston movers cost

Hi, I just found my new place in Boston (it’s in Beacon Hill, lovely, LOL). Now I have to find movers to move my 2-bed apartment and I am pretty stressed out as I am on a tight schedule. New job’s coming right away. So I am wondering what’s the cost (on average of course) for hiring Boston movers. If you can give me some info, that would be great. thanks.

    Hi Syntia, in order to get an accurate estimate, you should contact moving companies. On average, moving a 2-bedroom apartment would take 3 guys, at around $130-150 per hour, and 4-6 hours to complete the job. Plus travel fee, let’s say one hour. Hope that helps. Good luck with your move and do research your movers before booking.

    Manuella’s answer is right on in terms of hourly rate range and time estimate. I live in Beacon Hill (on Phillips St.) and work for a moving company called DN Van Lines.
