Help me on this one. Where is the best place to file a complaint against moving companies. What measures to take. Thanks.

Hi Joshua,
The best place to start is to call and complain to the moving company that performed the service. If that doesn’t give you satisfaction, there is AMSA (American Moving & Storage Association), which might be able to help if your Mover is a member. Another option is Better Business Bureau, which might help as well and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), which oversees every Interstate Moving company in the USA. You can also write a review on our site and share your story with the world and inform other people about your experience with the company.
Before you file your complaint you can read this article on the matter: http://www.mymovingreviews.com/move/file-complaint-against-movers

Hey Joshua, my advice is to give notice to the FMCSA if you have a really serious issue to resolve with your mover. BBB and AMSA cannot oblige the moving company to take any measures in order to resolve the problem. Also, don’t forget to write a review on your mover and tell your moving story – it will help many other people.
